Senior Project Manager Cloud Infrastructure
A bit about the role
- Execute infrastructure projects to improve our technology capabilities towards our software development teams as well as our customers, including cloud technologies, data center and infrastructure, automation, middleware all the way to software development and supporting IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities
- Drive and support the entire project lifecycle, from sales support to initiating new projects to successful execution and closure
- Lead development teams, drive and deep dive into technology topics from analysis to architecture, development and all the way through providing services to deliver working solutions to our customers
- Set up sound and efficient project governance incl. management of financials, resources and timeline and discuss and get buy-in from senior stakeholders, peers and engineers
- Manage scope and quality in alignment with senior stakeholders and manage risks and issues along the entire lifecycle and remove blockers for the team
- Instruct and manage technical delivery teams to engineer and develop infrastructure services and solutions for the cloud
- Effectively communicate and manage customer and sales expectations, provide status information to senior stakeholders and support our sales teams along the project implementation
- Bridge the gap between business vision and services/software offerings to detailed technical implementation
A bit about you
- University degree in technology and/or business or similar
- 7+ years of experience in Project Management for technical cross-functional projects
- Proven track record of delivering results in a complex international, diverse and agile driven environment
- Experience managing end-to end execution of complex programs that span multiple engineering teams through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
- Experience in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and BPaaS concepts and building capabilities and services for customers
- Completed cloud trainings with one or multiple hyper scalers, certification is a plus
- Aptitude to discuss technical details with developers and drive consensus among all stakeholders
- Highly motivated with a can–do attitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, willingness to drive difficult conversations to a practical solution
- Effective presentation skills (German and English, French or Italian is a plus) with the ability to deliver a polished and professional business and technical pitch to C-Suite and Board levels
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
- Background in technology and/or financial services is a plus
