Technical Business Analyst
A bit about the role
We are looking to hire a Business Analyst who has both business acumen and technical experience, to work on Banking implementation projects as well as on client support issues. You will be joining our Product & Technology team in Avaloq APAC & MEA organization. The whole group is responsible for developing and maintaining our Avaloq solutions for our clients in APAC & MEA. Your team consists of highly skilled Software Engineers and Consultants, helping our customers to implement and enhance Avaloq core, digital and surrounding ecosystems. We follow an agile process, working closely within the team but also with other related teams and clients to implement and enhance Avaloq core and maintain existing ones in live use.
Your role is customer and product focused. In collaboration with our clients, you will analyze and apply the extension of our standard products according to customers' needs.
The team works with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the solutions for our clients.
Your key tasks
- Lead and drive solution validation or analysis & design workshops across different streams to ensure consistent and complete requirement & solution coverage.
- Specifying new functionality in collaboration with Software Developers, Partners and Clients
- Act as subject matter expert at specific areas and able to go deep into requirement / solution gaps with support from product architects.
- Supporting developers during implementation, including testing
- Lead and drive implementation project at Build / Test / Go-Live stages, able to organize project streams to deliver the end-to-end project as required.
- Acting as the contact person concerning functional questions as well as supporting consulting projects and workshops with customers and partners
A bit about you
- University or Bachelors degree in banking/economics or equivalent working experience
- Willingness to get trained in Avaloq script including getting certified
- At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in Web Banking/ Wealth Management domain or in the Technology space
- Strong technical competencies and working knowledge in Angular, PL/ SQL
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities
- Ability to capture and write Requirements Specifications Documents
- High quality awareness, structured and autonomous approach to work
- Good command of English
- Technical affinity, open minded and team-oriented approach
It would be a real bonus if you have
- ACCP Accreditation
- Experience with Avaloq systems and technologies
- Involvement in Software projects
- Experience in working with agile methodologies
