Senior IT Project Manager

Join our dedicated team in a pivotal role where you'll orchestrate the successful delivery of IT projects that can transform how our business operates. As a Senior IT Project Manager, your expertise will guide diverse teams across our organization, safeguarding the alignment of technological solutions with their intended purpose. Your role isn't just about overseeing timelines and budgets; it's about weaving together the ambitions of different departments into a coherent, functioning system that elevates our collective capability.
Your key tasks (3 to max. 5 bullet points)
- Independently manage IT projects from initiation through planning to successful completion
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements and ensure project goals are met
- Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop measures to mitigate them
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and optimal allocation of resources
- Coordinate and lead interdisciplinary project teams, promote collaboration, and ensure smooth communication
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and continuously improve project management processes.
- Regularly prepare status reports for management and present project results
A bit about you
- At least 5+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally in an international environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum) and application of agile and traditional project management approaches
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders
- Highly analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex issues and develop solutions
- Experience in leading project teams and collaborating with international teams.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
