Project management Officer
A bit about the role
Wealth Products organisation provides Banks and Wealth Managers with a complete front-to-back wealth technology platform with out-of-the-box integration, offered in SaaS or BPaaS mode. Within Wealth Products organisation, Implementation & Services division is responsible of implementation projects for new Avaloq clients.
We are looking for a skilled Program Management Officer to support the Program Managers in the execution of multiple implementation projects for new Avaloq clients. The PMO will play a key role in ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in program management, preferably with a proven track record of successful projects within Banking industry.
Your key tasks:
- Support Project Planning & Execution of multiple projects simultaneously, applying the predefined project blueprint
- Facilitate communication across teams, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders are informed of project progress, risks, and changes
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and taking care of vendor management
- Monitor project risks and provide regular updates to senior management on the status of risk resolution
- Setup ad-hoc reporting for senior management (e.g. client tickets status by priority, test execution, etc.)
- Ensure the proper initiation, planning, execution, control and proper closure of all project.
- Working experience in fast-paced, complex international, diverse and dynamic environment.
- Experience of working with cross-functional and multi geography based teams
A bit about you
- University degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects
- Exceptional program management skills, including advanced knowledge of program management methodologies and tools (e.g. Office Suite, MS Project, JIRA, Power BI etc.)
- Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the banking business and bank-related processes is an added advantage
