System Manager (Service Planning)
A bit about the role
We are looking for passionate, committed and service-oriented individuals to join a dynamic team, helping us to plan, schedule, and monitor IT processes and services within our batch processing framework. Our mission is to ensure the swift and efficient execution of IT batch processing chains, meeting service levels and ensuring data readiness. We’re committed to continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency and automation to support sustainable growth in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Your key tasks
- Plan, Design, and Maintain: develop and manage complex batch processing chains
- Ensure Operational Standards: maintain standard operational conditions and update working instructions
- Oversee Batch Execution: control, manage, and escalate processing issues as needed
- Adhere to SLAs: ensure batch scheduling and processing comply with contractual service level agreements
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives to increase process automation and efficiency
- Scheduler Tool Expertise: Serve as the go-to reference for the use, maintenance, and evolution of the batch scheduler tools
Given that our work involves handling data in Switzerland, we require applicants to be Swiss residents.
A bit about you
- Batch Process Planning: Proven expertise in planning and executing batch processes
- Scheduler Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with one or more scheduling tools/solutions (e.g., ZENA)
- Planning and coordination: Experienced in coordinating batch scheduling changes during project deliveries and maintenance activities
- Flexible Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duty, public holidays, and weekends
- IT skills: previous experience in one of the following areas:
- IT Service Delivery
- Batch engineering / Batch processing management
- Release management
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Avaloq Experience: Proven experience in one or more Avaloq technical operations roles
- Automation: Previous experience in service improvement and automation
