I currently work for Avaloq as a business analyst. My work is similar to that of an interpreter in certain ways – I translate from the specialist’s language to the developer’s. On the one hand, I must take into consideration a bank’s requirements; on the other, I must abide by what is technically feasible for developers to implement. The result must be verified and documented.
It’s nice to know that implementing a GAP I have worked on makes people happy. But project work is my greatest challenge and what I find the most fun. In addition to finding out the client’s greatest needs, I have the opportunity to build the perfect solution from complex components.
I really appreciate the team spirit at Avaloq. Because each of us has particular strengths, we always take time to support each other.
Avaloq offers a wide range of positions to choose from according to one’s strengths, preferences and the desire to improve. There are many paths available to us: assignments abroad, I teach in Avaloq’s internal Academy, supporting both new and existing clients, etc.
I am currently focusing on expanding my proficiency in the area of technical knowledge of accounting, costs and fees.
I am proud to be able to complement my expert knowledge as an accountant with technical skills.
High motivation leads to success – and I get that at Avaloq.
