Avaloq Outline opens new production centre in Ticino
Avaloq Outline, the specialist for output management in the Avaloq group, opened yesterday its new centre for printing, packaging and mailing transaction documents in Bedano in the canton of Ticino. The company increases its capacity by 100 million mailings a year. As one of Switzerland’s leading output management providers, Avaloq Outline already successfully runs a production centre in Winterthur.
With the new production centre in Bedano, Ticino, Avaloq Outline increases its production capacity in Switzerland and strengthens its position as a leading provider of transaction document management. Based on an existing centre which Avaloq Outline has taken over, the new production centre has been completely renovated and equipped with new infrastructure.
On a production area of more than 2,000 m², four large-format colour and black & white printers and four packaging machines achieve a maximum production capacity of up to 100 million mailings a year, making Avaloq Outline one of the largest providers in Switzerland.
“The on-going digitalisation is responsible for the decline in printed products at companies. The pressure on providers of mass mailings is increasing. They face the question whether in-house printing and mailing of documents is still practical and cost-effective or whether they would be well advised to outsource these tasks to an external specialist,” says René Felder, CEO of Avaloq Outline. “With the new production centre in Bedano, we now have two dedicated processing centres in Switzerland. Both of them meet the highest requirements regarding quality, security and profitability.”
Avaloq Outline employs around 60 people at their headquarters in Lucerne and their two production centres in Bedano and Winterthur. Among their customers are banks, energy suppliers, credit card issuers, telecommunication companies, traders and real estate companies, publishers, insurance and health insurance companies.
