John brings over 20 years' industry and top-tier consulting experience delivering successful business transformation, systems integration and commercial outcomes for leading financial and professional services clients.
Prior to being promoted to UK Managing Director, John led Avaloq’s UK and Ireland delivery function. As Avaloq’s UK Managing Director, John will be responsible for growing Avaloq’s local client base as well as evolving and promoting Avaloq’s ecosystem of products and propositions, including the company’s new Engage, Insight and Wealth product lines. Launched in 2020, the three digital platforms help wealth managers take advantage of clients’ increased use of social messaging channels to engage with their relationship managers; the need for greater service personalization and a hyper-tailored approach; and increasingly advanced data analytics.
Avaloq’s UK presence, which includes its Edinburgh-based research and development centre, has continued to grow over the past few years, with 160 staff in total now. The company’s UK client base has also grown to include Barclays, HSBC, Canaccord Genuity and Coutts. Recent client successes include Tilney Smith & Williamson and Brewin Dolphin.
