Avaloq is delighted to announce that Stockholm-based fintech Cboe Vest Technologies won ‘Best Pitch Award’ at its recent inaugural Fintech Tuesday event in Zurich.
Fintech Tuesday is a new networking event for financial institutions, fintechs, influencers and key market stakeholders and is based on the avaloq.one platform, which was launched in April. Francisco Fernandez, Avaloq’s Chairman, hosted the first event, which was moderated by Eric van der Kleij, founder of Level39 London and part of Kickstart Accelerator and Digital Switzerland. Keynote presentations came from David Schlösser, Head of Business Digitalization, Credit Suisse; Alain Falys, CEO, Keybox; and Minho Roth, CEO, Avaloq Ventures.
Cboe Vest Technologies won after a five minute live-demo to an audience of financial institutions, fintechs and other industry stakeholders. Available on the avaloq.one platform, Cboe Vest’s solution uses exchange-traded options to deliver investment strategies that protect against losses, provide consistent income, or improve growth, giving investors unprecedented control over their investments.
Cboe Vest Technologies was pitching against three other fintechs on the avaloq.one platform: Ortec Finance, Qwil Messenger and WealthInitiative. Cboe Vest Technologies’ CEO, Daniel Roos, who presented its solution in the live demo, picked up the award on behalf of the firm. In addition, the first success story and on boarded start-up on avaloq.one, YUKKA Lab pitched live from the avaloq.one sandbox to demonstrate how customers can integrate new capabilities with just a few clicks.
avaloq.one is an intuitive platform that seamlessly connects financial institutions with fintechs and their solutions. It significantly speeds up and streamlines implementation for all parties through standardised Open Application Program Interfaces, with fintechs benefiting from the ability to self-onboard to the platform, self-integrate with Open APIs and test through avaloq.one’s sandbox capabilities.
Market-leading fintechs listed on the avaloq.one market place include Cboe Vest Technologies, Ortec Finance, vlot, Qwil Messenger, YUKKA Lab, Adviscent and WealthInitiative.
