A bit about the role
Your key tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement advanced network architectures that harness the capabilities of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure.
- Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IAC) principles, particularly using Terraform, to create, provision, and manage network resources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex network-related issues and outages, both in cloud and traditional network environments, leveraging your previous experience.
- Optimize network performance by monitoring, analyzing, and refining network configurations and protocols.
- Contribute to the integration of network requirements into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, collaborating closely with DevOps teams.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, enhancing your knowledge and skills in cloud networking.
A bit about you
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure, including networking services and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC) methodologies, with hands-on experience using Terraform for network provisioning.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, VLANs, and subnets.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, for managing code and configurations.
- Previous experience working on cloud-based network projects
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving complex network issues and optimizing network performance.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools, keeping up-to-date with the rapidly evolving cloud and networking landscape.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, providing valuable insights and contributing to project success.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
- Proficiency in English
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Relevant cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification
- Italian language
