A bit about the role

Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global Business Area, running state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. We are experts in providing a true value add to our clients and thus, always look to add creative and client-oriented personalities with drive and passion to our team.

The Securities Transfer team is responsible for processing portfolio management transfers in and out of banks and /or between custodians.

Your key tasks

  • Responsible for the Processing of Incoming free of payment transactions, Outgoing free of payment as well as Swiss Registered Shares and the associated Reconciliation.
  • Responsible for the Execution of the qualitative end-of-day operational level controls.
  • Maintenance of a constructive internal alignment with the Team Leader in case of any operational issues.
  • In-scope service management in compliance with Services Level Agreements and market practices.
  • Be engaged and contributing to establishing processes, enhancements suggestions and automations initiatives of the team.

A bit about you

  • Banking Operations experience is required.
  • Knowledge of and experience in banking domains.
  • Technology and Solutions skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Avaloq Banking Suite, FundSettle, Clearstream Vestima, SWIFT, Secom).
  • Analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Apply analytical thinking and intelligent concepts.
  • Proven service-orientation and a strong motivation to be part of a dynamic team.
  • Excellent communication skills and full professional proficiency in English.

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • German, Italian and/or French language.
  • Settlement and Securities Transfer experience.
  • Knowledge about Avaloq Banking Suite Products.
