A bit about the role

The team is a dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across development centres in Zurich, Manila, Pune, Luxembourg, Madrid, Edinburgh and Berlin. We follow an agile process, working closely within but also with other related teams and clients to develop new product features and maintain existing ones in live use.

In addition, the team works with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow.

Your key tasks

  • Analyse business requirements and processes in close collaboration with the software developer and Architect for preparation of business solutions
  • Evaluate scenarios and recommend best business and IT solutions
  • Build, parameterize and maintain business IT solutions in Avaloq
  • Actively manage client expectation by communicating regularly and providing business consulting services to Avaloq customers
  • Support in maintenance of existing functionalities & help in user acceptance testing
  • Update of technical documentation in close collaboration with Software Developer & Technical Writers
  • Functional support of customer projects (new implementation of, or upgrades to, the Avaloq Banking Suite)

A bit about you

  • University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Business Management or equivalent
  • Min. 5 years of experience with business analysis and requirements engineering in the financial industry
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning.

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • Experience with Avaloq or other banking systems
  • Experience in the SecOps or Payments area
  • Understanding of relational databases (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL).
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • German language.
