A bit about the role

The Solution Consulting organization drives the consultative selling approach across the sales force to create value for our prospects/clients. The approach relies on an open dialogue with a problem - solving mindset and applies design thinking methods.​

You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design and build solutions that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.


Your key tasks

  • The solution consulting function are involved as early as possible alongside the Sales team, to understand the client's drivers, use consultative sales and design thinking processes to truly understand the needs, and turn these needs into compelling solutions.
  • Work as a solution consultant with the objective of defining the most effective solutions for banks in terms of functional modules, regulatory requirements, 3rd party products integration, investments process and technology, to support the enterprise business strategy.
  • Be responsible for the Middle East and Africa product roadmaps ensuring early identification, go to market and planning for delivery of regulatory items.
  • Drive projects, as well as implement, run and improve processes/operations for Avaloq products (e.g. demo environments, sales and pre-sales enablement, reporting, best practices).
  • Broad knowledge and awareness across products, technology, architecture and services (OnPrem, SaaS and BPaaS).

A bit about you

  • More than 5 years relevant working experience as Avaloq Banking Suite subject matter expert.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management, private banking as part of the building/transforming digital platform initiatives.
  • Ability to understand complex requirements, to transform requirements into solutions, and to describe requirements in a structured way.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding and proven expertise of Islamic Banking principles and their application within the regulatory frameworks of the Middle East.
  • Strong knowledge in Fund Management and Administrations.
