A bit about the role

We are looking to hire a skilled senior test specialist to design and implement quality-check procedures for our products. As a senior test specialist, you are responsible to perform all the Quality assurance related activities with due diligence to ensure highest quality product delivered to the clients.

Your key tasks

  • Contributing to lead the project-based test team, providing hands on Test Execution activities and enabling it to deliver the highest level of quality across our testing services and practices.
  • Collaborating in defining and maintaining the Test Policy and Test Plan
  • Manage customer relationship with appropriate communication and coordinate testing activities with customer Test Manager
  • Work closely with project manager, development teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and issues.
  • Contribute to definition of Test Policy and Test Plan
  • Manage all aspects of testing for one or more clients from Test Strategy to execution.
  • Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability.
  • Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
  • Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting.
  • Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies.
  • Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates.
  • Report progress to management and client
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures.
  • Actively manage client relationship with appropriate communication if required.

A bit about you

  • Avaloq testing experience is must.
  • Experience in Test Automation practices and tools (Preferably Test Master experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
  • Quality-conscious attitude, being self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory.
  • Open-minded and able to work in a global model.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving competences
  • Structured and rigorous approach
  • Team player and strong client-orientation
  • Ability to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced, and complex environment.

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • ISTQB Foundation and knowledge of agile way of working.
