Internship in Banking Operations in Trade Processing CH (6-month fixed-term contract)
A bit about the role
You will be part of a global team which is responsible for the Trade Processing of different products and their Settlement in the markets.
Your key tasks
- Processing of stock exchange trades (mainly bonds, equities, eft and funds) in Avaloq Banking Suite
- Settlement of Delivery and Receive versus payment (DVP and RVP trades)
- Ensuring that all transactions are processed correctly and settled in a timely manner
- Monitoring settlement operations and failed trades
- Control actions/coordination with clients, trade departments and custodians
- Cash and security reconciliation
- Compliance with Services Level Agreements (SLA) and KPI
A bit about you
- Trade Processing or Settlement experience is a plus, as well as Technology and Solutions skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Avaloq Banking Suite, SWIFT)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handles well during a stressful environment
- A service-orientated team player and has a strong motivation to be part of a dynamic team
- An independent and proactive worker with good communication skills
