Avaloq has appointed Paco Hauser to the role of Regional Manager EMEA. The appointment forms part of Avaloq’s global strategy to automate the financial services industry and to lead its digital transformation with a focus on the significant opportunities for growth in the fast-developing EMEA market.

Paco joins Avaloq from his most recent role as General Manager EMEA and Member of the Board of Appway AG, a leading Swiss-based software company focused on digitization and business process management in the financial services industry. He joined Appway in 2010 as COO and Director of Professional Services and was instrumental in growing the company from a start-up to an international company.

Before joining Appway, Paco was a Partner at Arthur D Little in Zurich and part of the firm’s Global Financial Services Group. Previous experience includes senior roles at CSC Switzerland, BearingPoint, KPMG Consulting and Swissair. In all, he has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, business consulting and IT.

In line with its plan to accelerate growth organically and through acquisitions, Avaloq recently implemented a new governance structure and team to strengthen its operational and strategic management - with a greater emphasis on customers and markets. The appointment of Paco Hauser complements this new structure and provides additional focus in the EMEA region.
