Solution Consultant
A bit about the role
We're looking for a talented and driven Solution Consultant to join our growing team in Singapore. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our customer success strategy, working collaboratively with sales, account management, and delivery teams to design and implement innovative solutions that address our clients' most complex business challenges. You'll engage with leading financial institutions throughout their entire journey with us—from initial discovery through successful implementation—while building lasting, strategic partnerships that drive mutual growth and success.
- Partner with sales and account management teams to understand client requirements and develop compelling, customized solution proposals that align with their strategic objectives
- Lead solution shaping sessions and manage the end-to-end solution lifecycle, coordinating seamlessly with internal stakeholders including architects, product specialists, pricing teams, and project delivery managers
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate our value propositions, tailoring your approach to resonate with diverse client audiences and decision-makers
- Manage RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes with precision and professionalism, ensuring thorough and competitive responses
- Analyze competitive solutions and market dynamics, leveraging your regulatory knowledge to articulate the strategic impact of our offerings within the evolving financial services landscape
- Support both new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities with existing clients through consultative selling methodologies
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with client expectations and industry best practices
- Document and communicate solution details clearly to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the sales and implementation process
A bit about you
- Proven track record as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or equivalent consulting role, ideally within Banking, Wealth Management, or FinTech environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with C‑level executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, wealth management practices, and financial services business models.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Hands‑on experience leading and managing RFI/RFP processes, with strong attention to detail and strategic positioning.
- Demonstrated consultative selling mindset, with a proven ability to uncover client needs and co‑create differentiated solutions.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience leading solution discovery workshops to identify client pain points, transformation objectives, and value drivers.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about complex business challenges.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and time zones in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
- Proven experience designing and presenting end‑to‑end solution architectures that clearly articulate business outcomes and competitive differentiation.
- Strong hands‑on experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite, with the ability to position its capabilities effectively in client engagements (highly desirable).
- Deep domain expertise in accounting, fund administration, and regulatory workflows, enabling strong credibility with senior client stakeholders.
- Experience supporting opportunities involving Islamic Banking and Sharia‑compliant products, particularly in regional and specialized markets.
