Cloud-Native Microservices Developer (Infrastructure Domain)
A bit about the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud-Native Microservices Developer with expertise in Python or Java, along with extensive experience in cloud-native development, Kubernetes, and Docker. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying microservices on cloud platforms, with proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using Terraform. Additionally, experience with tools like Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualization is important. While Oracle Cloud experience is preferred, candidates with expertise in other cloud platforms are also welcome. Oracle Cloud Architect Certification is considered an added advantage for this role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities:
Cloud-Native Microservices Development: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native microservices using Python, Java, or similar languages, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Kubernetes and Docker: Containerize microservices using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes for efficient deployment, scaling, and management.
DevOps Implementation: Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Infrastructure Automation: Utilize Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure resources on platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Monitoring and Visualization: Integrate microservices with monitoring tools like Prometheus for collecting metrics and Grafana for visualization and analysis of performance data.
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards in cloud-native microservices architecture, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.
A bit about you
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Microservices Developer or Software Engineer with expertise in Python or Java.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native development principles and experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for performance monitoring and analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Oracle Cloud Architect Certification or relevant cloud certifications.
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
