Associate Test Automation Engineer
A bit about the role
We are seeking a talented and innovative Associate Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Makati, Philippines. As an Associate Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Assist in implementing test automation frameworks and strategies
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Analyze test results, identify blockers, and work with different teams to resolve issues
- Support improvement and optimization of existing test automation processes and tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation
- Mentor and support team members in adopting automation best practices
- Contribute to the development of testing standards and methodologies
A bit about you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in test automation
- Good programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, etc
- Experienced in automation tools and frameworks, including but not limited to Cypress, Selenium, Appium, etc
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker)
- Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Zephyr
- Familiarity with static code analysis tools like SonarQube
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Continuous learner with a passion for staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
