Technical Business Analyst – Securities Trading and Treasury
A bit about the role
The Securities Trading & Treasury team is seeking a Technical IT Business Analyst to support requirements analysis, solution design, and parameterization activities on the Avaloq Core Platform. The role focuses on supporting customers across Switzerland/Liechtenstein (CH/FL) and the APAC region.
The team is responsible for all aspects related to these areas within the Avaloq Core Platform and the implementation baselines for our SaaS Centers.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of exciting and challenging projects, contributing to cutting-edge global banking initiatives. The team works in an agile environment, closely collaborating with customers and partners to support a broad international client base in CH/FL and APAC, and to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving market demands.
Your key tasks
- Analyze business requirements and processes within the Treasury and Securities Trading domain
- Evaluate alternative scenarios and recommend optimal business and IT solutions
- Design, build, parameterize, and maintain solutions on the Avaloq platform
- Actively participate in implementation projects and client workshops
- Manage client relationships through regular communication and professional business consulting
- Prepare reports and project documentation related to new client requirements, ongoing activities, and project status
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Avaloq Securities Trading and Treasury solutions, implementation standards, and innovative product development initiatives
A bit about you
- University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
- Min. 3 years of experience with business analysis and requirements engineering in the financial industry
- Good programming skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Deep knowledge in PL/SQL
- Experience with Avaloq or other banking systems
- Experience in the Treasury and Securities Area
- Understanding of relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL).
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Italian, German and French languages
