Avaloq, a global wealth technology firm and part of NEC Corporation, today announced its entry into the U.S. market with the launch of Avaloq Mosaic, a modular platform for wealth managers seeking to modernize investment technology without requiring a full platform replacement.

Avaloq Mosaic connects investment data and portfolio processes across existing systems, helping firms introduce new capabilities progressively. Many U.S. wealth managers rely on complex technology environments built up over years of growth and acquisitions. This can make it harder to support personalized investment strategies at scale, respond rapidly to market developments and adopt AI-enabled operating models.

Avaloq Mosaic debuts in the U.S. with two core capabilities, Portfolio IQ and Allocator. Portfolio IQ provides a real-time investment view, consolidating holdings, transactions and portfolio information across multiple accounts, custodians and other sources. Allocator translates investment strategies into portfolios across large and complex client books, supporting portfolio construction, personalization and ongoing management at scale.

Together, Portfolio IQ and Allocator provide a connected foundation for investment data and portfolio management. The broader Avaloq Mosaic offering also includes Agent Connect, which provides firms’ AI tools with governed access to verified investment data. Avaloq will expand the offering with additional capabilities, including Tax for tax-aware investment management, Asset Servicing for position keeping and securities-event administration, and Lending for margin and securities-backed lending decisions.

Built for complex wealth environments, Avaloq Mosaic combines a composable, cloud-native and API-first architecture with the governance and operating discipline required by large financial institutions.

Martin Greweldinger, Group CEO of Avaloq, said: “The U.S. is the world’s largest and one of the most sophisticated wealth markets, with distinct demands on the technology supporting advisors and clients. For more than four decades, Avaloq has built and operated technology for wealth managers across major global markets. With Avaloq Mosaic, we are bringing that experience to the U.S., giving firms the flexibility to modernize their technology, make better use of their investment data and introduce new capabilities without replacing the systems they already rely on.”

Suzzanna Gill, President, Avaloq U.S., said: “U.S. wealth managers are balancing greater scale with increasingly sophisticated portfolios and rising client demand for faster, more personalized insight, often on technology infrastructures built over many years. The opportunity for firms is to connect investment data with processes they already have, so they can modernize where it creates the greatest business impact.”

Avaloq has established a U.S. leadership team with experience across wealth management, brokerage, advisory technology and business transformation. Gill has extensive experience in wealth management transformation and building technology-enabled businesses in the U.S. Joel Lewis, Managing Director, U.S. Region, brings experience spanning self-directed brokerage, scaled advisory and full-service wealth management, with a focus on product strategy, transformation and business development.

Avaloq supports more than 170 financial institutions globally and reinvests 20% of its software revenue in research and development. Its technology helps wealth managers and private banks automate processes, streamline operations and manage complexity at scale.
