Senior Test Specialist
A bit about the role
Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts.
Customer facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.
Your key tasks
- Lead the project-based test team, enabling it to deliver the highest level of quality across our testing services and practices
- Define Test Policy and Test Plan
- Manage customer relationship with appropriate communication and coordinate testing activities with customer Test Manager
- Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
- Report progress to management and customer
- Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their re-usability
- Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
- Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting
- Documentation and evaluation the results of the testing
A bit about you
- University degree in Engineering, Banking, Finance, Business or Economics
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years work experience within the banking/financial industry
- In-depth knowledge of test concepts and methodology
- Working knowledge of QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving competences
- Ability to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment
- Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients locally and in EMEA region
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with an emphasis on client service and presentation
- Fluency in English
It would be a real bonus if you have
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent
- Experience with Avaloq banking system solution is a strong plus
- Experience of testing in agile context: (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing)
- French, German, Italian language skills
