Software Engineer - Avaloq/PLSQL/Oracle
A bit about the role
Purpose: Own complex ABS/PLSQL software changes and act as a technical lead for solution design, code quality, change analysis, and team enablement.
Primary focus
- Complex Avaloq Script and SQL/PLSQL solution design and implementation.
- Expert ABS experience across functional context, dependencies, integrations, and recurring change patterns.
- Coaching, code review, process analysis, delivery quality, and improvement of engineering standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical analysis and implementation of complex requirements, enhancements, and change initiatives.
- Design robust Avaloq Script and PL/SQL solutions and validate correctness, performance, security, maintainability, and delivery impact.
- Resolve complex implementation questions, manage trade-offs, and address quality findings from review and testing.
- Review code, database logic, test coverage, documentation, and technical designs.
- Facilitate technical clarification workshops, manage dependencies, and make well-reasoned delivery trade-offs.
A bit about you
Expected knowledge and skills
- Expert SQL/PLSQL and database design skills with strong maintainability and performance mindset.
- Expert ABS experience in relevant functional areas and integrations; regulated banking domain experience is a plus.
- German language skills are an advantage for workshops, change clarification, and cross-team alignment.
