Software Engineer – Digital Banking Configuration (IN)
A bit about the role
As a Software Engineer in our Experience Delivery team, you will focus on shaping digital banking solutions that directly impact clients' experiences, working with Web and Mobile Banking configurations. In this role, you will collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineers to ensure that our offerings meet user needs, all while troubleshooting and enhancing functionalities across various technical layers. We are looking for someone who is inquisitive and methodical, with a desire to understand the entire banking process from configuration to the end-user experience.
Key tasks
- Manage configuration settings for web and mobile banking platforms to enhance system performance and user experience. Implement necessary changes while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and security protocols. Coordinate with product owners to gather and refine requirements for configuration adjustments.
- Develop integration solutions that enable seamless data flow between digital banking systems and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system integration efforts. Test and validate integration points for optimal performance and security while documenting processes and maintaining technical specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues through detailed analysis. Document and track support requests using ticketing systems for efficient management. Collaborate with engineering teams to pinpoint and implement solutions for recurring problems.
- Use technical diagnostic tools such as browser developer tools, log analysis, API inspection, SQL/data checks, and Kubernetes/OpenShift basics where relevant.
A bit about you
Required Qualification-
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ Strong experience working with SQL databases; PL/SQL expertise is an advantage, particularly for candidates without ACCP certification or hands-on ACP parametrization experience.
- Relevant certifications in software development, digital banking technologies, or related areas.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues across frontend, backend, data, and configuration layers.
- Architectural understanding of web applications, browser developer tools, APIs, logging mechanisms, and application deployment/runtime concepts.
- Ability to clearly document complex analysis results, configuration decisions, and technical findings.
Nice to Have-
- Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (ACCP) certification or equivalent hands-on experience with ACP parametrization.
- Production-level experience with modern TypeScript-based front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, or supporting containerized applications.
