Avaloq Certified GIM Professional (ACGP)

Certification track suitable for: Project managers, customization professionals, consultants.

Responsibilities include: Implementing Avaloq projects using the Global Implementation Method (GIM), ensuring structured delivery and effective risk management.

This certification track covers Avaloq’s Global Implementation Method (GIM), a standardized framework based on best practices drawn from multiple Avaloq implementation projects. GIM defines a consistent set of methods for delivering Avaloq implementations across the ecosystem.

By applying the GIM framework, implementation teams can maximize the reuse of project expertise, improve resource exchange and mobility, and reduce project risk, cost, and time to market. GIM also supports greater consistency and alignment across implementation projects, strengthening delivery quality throughout the Avaloq ecosystem.

Avaloq Certified Operations Professional (ACOP)

Certification track suitable for: Application managers, application operations managers, configuration managers, IT operators, release managers, system managers, system administrators.  

Responsibilities include: Preparing, configuring, and upgrading the production environment, infrastructure, and applications.

This certification track provides an overview of best practices for operating the Avaloq platform end‑to‑end. Participants are introduced to the key system components, along with the tools and concepts that support daily operations. The course covers the execution of day‑to‑day operational tasks, appropriate responses to critical situations, and structured troubleshooting processes across both business and development areas.

Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (Core-MDB)

Certification track suitable for: Business analysts, business consultants, developers, software engineers, technical consultants.

Responsibilities include: Customizing the Avaloq platform according to client specifications (MDB standards and patterns).

This certification track establishes a foundational level of expertise in Avaloq platform customization, enabling participants to address client‑specific requirements effectively. It introduces the key customization tools, engines, workflows, user interfaces, order validations, and other critical customization areas. The knowledge gained is essential for professionals involved in Avaloq implementation projects. The certification track concludes with an exam and successful participants receive the Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (ACCP) certificate, which is valid for two years.

Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (Core-ABR/S)

Certification track suitable for: Business analysts, business consultants, developers, software engineers, technical consultants.

Responsibilities include: Customizing the Avaloq platform according to client specifications (ABR/S standards and patterns).

Avaloq’s transition to ABR/S requires a strong understanding of its key patterns and best practices for future implementations. This certification track is designed for professionals who need to understand, develop, and review ABR/S implementations across different code layers, from standard platform logic to bank specific customization. The certification track concludes with an exam and successful participants receive the Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (ACCP) certificate, which is valid for two years. 

Avaloq Certified Integration Professional (ACIP)

Certification track suitable for: Customization professionals, integration developers, API developers, integration architects, integration project managers.

Responsibilities include: Managing the integration of various systems, ensuring secure and efficient data flow, and test integrations.

Building on Avaloq’s comprehensive integration portfolio for its platform, this certification track enables professionals to tailor integration solutions to specific business and technical requirements. Following the foundation course, Integration Use Cases, participants progressively deepen their knowledge across the individual Avaloq integration products. Upon completion of all required courses, participants take a final exam. Successful candidates are awarded the Avaloq Certified Integration Professional (ACIP) certificate, which is valid for two years. 

Maintaining your Avaloq certification

Ongoing training is essential to staying current with the latest developments of the Avaloq platform. To maintain certification validity, certified professionals are therefore required to complete recertification through delta and elective courses.

Delta courses focus on the most significant platform developments with potential customization impact and are delivered within defined timeframes. Elective courses cover a broad range of business and technical topics, allowing professionals to tailor their learning to their role and needs. Electives are available as one, two, or three‑day courses, earning 30, 60, or 90 education points respectively.

Certificate validity

Certificates are valid for 2 years.

Education requirements

You must earn 120 education points to keep your certificate valid.

Points system

Education points come from recertification courses; 120 points equal 4 course days.

Mandatory courses

You must complete 1 delta course and 3 elective course days.
