A bit about the role

Your team

The Global department is located in three different regions: Germany (Berlin, Düsseldorf), Switzerland (Zürich, Bioggio) and Singapore. They are responsible for managing Income and General Meeting business/processes (Announcements, Instructions and Payments).

Your mission

Overall responsibility for monitoring, planning and executing daily operations of Income and General Meeting events in line with agreed Service Level Agreements. The main tasks would be:

  • Set-up and monitoring events including deadlines
  • Creation of notifications for General Meetings and Redemptions
  • Instructions to custodians and registration offices regarding to General Meetings
  • Booking of Income and Tax events considering German and foreign taxes
  • Cash and stock reconciliation
  • Inquiry from/to custodians and from banks
  • Supporting the team improving the functionalities of Avaloq’s core banking platform and the related operational processes to increase efficiency and decrease operational risks
  • Supporting the team in income related projects and testing of new functionalities or regular releases

What you need

  • Initial work experience in the banking back office
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Full flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Good team player and positive attitude
  • Capability to autonomously get around in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment
  • Mandatory, fluent in English and German

You will get extra points for the following

  • Know-how in the Income or/and Corporate Actions area is considered as a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking System
  • Knowledge of additional languages
