A bit about the role

Our Tax Development Center CH/DE team consists of multiple highly qualified Software Engineers and Business Analysts, closely working together on complex tax-related functionalities. Our products offer a range of features that assist banks and financial institutions across the globe in providing tax-compliance services for both local and global taxes.

This position offers a one-of-a-kind chance to enhance your business analyst and software development skills while gaining banking expertise. We encourage you to expand your knowledge by delving into several areas of our banking system, enabling you to become an expert in our core banking software and industry-specific business processes.

Your key tasks

  • Analyze, design and develop new features for functionality within the team’s responsibility
  • Analyze and resolve software defects, improve and optimize existing functionality
  • Working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development
  • Demonstrating ownership and taking responsibility for your area of expertise
  • Contact point for bank-related questions with regard to our software
  • Enhancing the quality of our functionality through automated testing and code reviews

A bit about you

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a commitment to high standards of quality
  • Software engineering skills, with a deep understanding of software development processes and industry best practices
  • A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills (at least in English) to facilitate close collaboration with colleagues and clients worldwide
  • Familiarity with Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics Engineering or similar fields
  • Previous experience or a strong interest in international tax topics such as QI, FATCA, CRS, WHT, German and Swiss Taxes
  • Experience in financial services or banking related area
  • German language skills are a plus
