A bit about the role

Your key tasks

  • Develop and maintain BI application and reporting solution, working with Business, IT and vendor teams
  • Design and implement solutions for the SAP Business Warehouse including Design Documents, Dataflows, Datamodels, InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DSO Objects, DataSources, User Exits, InfoSources, Update & Transfer Rules, Transfer Processes and Communiation Structures
  • Develop SAP BW & BI reports and queries
  • Support of our SAP BW planning processes
  • Participate in requirement gathering and design phase to define business requirements and data flow design
  • Adopt data modelling & data flow design best practices to develop robust & scalable solutions. Activate, Configure & Enhance Business Content Extractors.
  • Support incident resolutions ensuring timely closure of identified defects within published SLAs. Lead root cause analysis for major defects.
  • Collaborate with functional architects and business analysts to identify changes that impact existing analytics, and ensure end-to-end analytic needs are met.
  • Support the upcoming SAP S/4 transformation program.
  • Monitor process chains and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Month-end systems monitoring

A bit about you

  • 3+ years of SAP BW on HANA and/or BW4/HANA end to end development experience in an international company.
  • 2+ years of experience on SAC as a planning and reporting tool, designing/implementing data models.
  • Extensive experience in SAP BW/HANA version 2.0 or earlier
  • Well versed in usage of ABAP and AMDP for transformation routine
  • Extensive knowledge in data modelling, particularly based on the BW/4HANA concept
  • Understanding of SAP BW Security Modelling
  • Strong interpersonal, and personal organization skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and design skills
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and translate technical concepts into non-technical language, understanding what communication is required for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. Does not settle for ‘just enough,’ but stays on the hunt for answers to challenges.
  • Seeks to understand - demonstrates strong ability to ‘listen’ and understand before making recommendations.
