A bit about the role
Wealth Products organisation provides Banks and Wealth Managers with a complete front-to-back wealth technology platform with out-of-the-box integration, offered in SaaS or BPaaS mode. Within Wealth Products organisation, Implementation & Services division is responsible of implementation projects for new Avaloq clients.
We are looking for an experienced project manager to lead project streams within implementation projects for new Avaloq clients (both BPaaS and SaaS solutions), effectively managing communication with all project stakeholders, coordinating with other project streams from mobilisation phase until successful go-live and project closure.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects, preferably within Banking industry and will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your key tasks:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex project streams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business objectives.
- Achieve defined objectives of the projects (scope, quality, time, budget, reporting, project staffing and post project reviews)
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and resources are effectively utilized
- Stakeholders management and communication, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations, and communicating regularly with senior management, providing detailed reports on project progress, key risks and issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Discussing & in-detail understanding technical issues with developer & technology leads.
- Working experience in fast-paced, complex international, diverse and dynamic environment .
- Experience of working with cross-functional and multi geography based teams
A bit about you
- 5+ years of experience as Project manager managing medium/large size project
- Proven track record of delivering results in a complex international, diverse and dynamic environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Persistent, assertive, resilient. Maintains an overview and can set priorities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the banking business and bank-related processes is an added advantage
