Project Manager (Cutover)
A bit about the role
- Manage activities to prepare testing environments and plan / execute deploy in production for Release Upgrade projects.
- He/she is in charge to lead plan execution all over the weekend and provide status communications to all stakeholders.
- Stakeholder involvement is a key strong interaction with technical departments, development and client counterparties.
- Manage client and vendors in line with strategies and drive activities for a successful cutover execution
A bit about you
- University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Banking, Business or Economics.
- Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience
- Understanding of IT topics allowing the candidate to master IT terminology and dependencies within activities
- Proficient knowledge using MS Office applications and MS Project
- Experience on IT Migration Projects
- Experience in the banking/financial industry and banking business knowledge
- Release management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on client service and presentation
- Independent work methodology and focus on deadlines
- Ability to discuss with technicians and business stakeholders
- Problem solving skill and proactive approach
- High level of stress management ability
- Proven experience in managing complex cutover processes and weekend deployments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with change management principles and practices
- Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies in IT projects
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
