Deputy CISO-Operations
A bit about the role
Avaloq's CISO-Operations team is responsible for ensuring that our global systems and networks are secure and protected - including those that we host and operate for our customers. With personnel in 7 locations globally (Zurich and Bioggio, Switzerland; Manila, Philippines; Singapore; Pune, India; Berlin, Germany; and Edinburgh, Scotland); the CISO-Operations is responsible for the global 24/7 Cyber Security Operations Center, Security Architecture, Vulnerability Management, Red Team, Security Tool Development and Implementation, Client Security Communications, and Security Program Management and Assurance.
This role is for a highly motivated and driven security professional with strong project and program management skills. In this role you will act as the primary deputy for the CISO-Operations, as well as lead the Security Program Managment and Assurance Team. Working with the other parts of the CISO-Operations team as well as across the organization, you will leverage our ongoing cloud transformation to automate and streamline the compliance lifecycle; as well as identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to implement those improvements.
Your key tasks
- Managing a team of assurance professionals and tracking/coordinating all information security audit and compliance activities
- Automating evidence collection for all Security Controls
- Coordinating and tracking all CISO-Operations Initiatives
- Analyzing and updating controls in conjunction with the CISO-Governance, Audit, and Risk teams
- Representing the CISO-Operations organization internally and externally
A bit about you
- Strong experience as a program or project manager, with a proven track record of driving complex projects with multiple stakeholders to completion
- Broad knowledge of Information Security domains, with specialty knowledge in at least one domain
- Knowledge and experience with Information Security Audit, Compliance, and Regulations
- Knowledge and experience working with Infrastructure as Code and Cloud-Native paradigms
- Basic ability to develop your own tools and solutions
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Experience with security and compliance in a highly regulated industry (finance, pharma, healthcare)
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Experience communicating with Senior Executives
