A bit about the role

Your Team

Avaloq’s Solution Consulting team works closely with sales and key account managers to achieve ambitious regional targets and do so by applying a consultative selling approach. We put ourselves in our customers' shoes to understand the challenges and make outstanding presentations of possible solutions. We own sales cases from a solution perspective.

This role will give you the opportunity to engage with our customers throughout the full lifecycle of their journey with Avaloq from initial contact through to implementation and delivery of our cutting-edge products, giving you fantastic exposure to some of the world’s biggest banking brands.

Your key tasks:

  • Support the acquisition of new Avaloq customers or upselling with our existing customers

  • Take a key role in the solution shaping and management of client related solutions including the coordination of internal colleagues including Architects, Pricing, Project Delivery and Technical Development teams

  • Organize and lead presentations and demonstrations of Avaloq products and services as well as Defining the storyline / USPs with Sales and product experts

  • Analyze competitive solutions and use your knowledge to understand and communicate the impact of financial regulations

  • Manage RFI and RFP processes

A bit about you

  • Proven track record of working in a similar role, ideally within the banking or fintech industries

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork over different locations, client facing discussions, facilitation and negotiation with a consulting focused approach.

  • Educational mindset to demo and promote Avaloq solutions

  • Ability to understand and interpret very technical information.

  • Strong Banking and wealth management knowledge and experience

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Sound knowledge of banking regulations e.g MiFID, Basel, MCD, MLAR, Consumer Duty, EMIR or CASS/CMAR

  • Experience with software development, implementation, testing, business analytics or SQL

  • German, French or Italian language skills
